Hello,
My name is Murgan Alexandru I am from Romania but I will be moving to France the next month.I was wondering if you could tell me if I can open a texas holdem club/cardroom with 5-10 tables. Is it legal in France to organize holdem games? I have read that since dec 2006 it is legal for some casinos to organize this game.I was wondering if the legislation would allow me to get the license to open such a cardroom in Grenoble . In Romania the legislation doesn't allow to organize poker tables so I have only organized homegames before but I have the means and the meanings to open a club in France if it is possible.I would appreciate an answer from you and fell free to give me more details or if you can tell who I may speak with about this matter.

Sorry but french legislation is the same than in Romania, you can't open any cardroom in France. You only can play poker in casinos.
